Child Training             $4,241 (years 1 through 4)

 

Leave of Absence    $500 per year

 

Supervisory Fee       $1500 (years 2 through 5)

 

Affiliate Member Dues          $119 (for candidates who wish to join the Center)

 

Supervisory fees and fees for the personal training analysis are negotiated separately.

 

Biddle Loan Fund

 

The Sydney C. Biddle Loan Fund has been established to provide low interest loans to qualified candidates. Inquiry as to qualifications and terms may be made in writing to the Chair(s) of the Education Committee or the Administrative Directors. This fund is administered by the Foundation of the Psychoanalytic Center of Philadelphia, which supports the programs of the Institute and the Center.

 

Veteran's Benefits

 

The Institute of the Psychoanalytic Center of Philadelphia is approved for Veteran's Administration education assistance to eligible veterans.

 

Accreditation and Continuing Education Credit

 

The American Psychoanalytic Association is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) to sponsor continuing medical education for physicians. The American Psychoanalytic Association designates continuing medical education activity on an hour for hour basis in Category I of the Physician's Recognition Award of the American Medical Association. This activity has been planned and implemented in accordance with the Essentials and Standards of the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education through joint sponsorship of The American Psychoanalytic Association and The Psychoanalytic Center of Philadelphia. The American Psychoanalytic Association is accredited by the ACCME to provide continuing medical education for physicians.

 

The Psychoanalytic Center of Philadelphia is approved by the American Psychological Association to offer Continuing Education to psychologists.

 

The Psychoanalytic Center of Philadelphia's courses and programs are regularly approved for continuing education for social workers by the Pennsylvania State Board of Social Workers Marriage and Family Therapists and Professional Counselors. (Please note that his Board accredits specific events rather than organizations. The Institute will apply for credits adequate to fulfill the Board's biannual CE requirement. Social workers may also apply directly and individually to the Board for credit for additional courses.)
