Applicants should have a Master’s or Doctoral degree in their field of professional training, along with appropriate licensure, and adequate malpractice insurance. We accept applications from social workers, psychologists, pediatricians, psychiatrists (including psychiatric residents), marriage and family counselors, and occupational and speech therapists. We encourage applications from those who work in educational settings and in social agencies providing community service. Applicants must demonstrate an aptitude for child and adolescent psychotherapy. Professional experience working with children and adolescents is desirable, but not required.
Applicants should send in the application form (downloadable by clicking the link below), along with two letters of reference (preferably from teachers and supervisors), copies of current licensure and malpractice insurance, a curriculum vitae, and a two-page autobiographical sketch which includes a statement describing the applicant’s interest in the program. After receiving this information, an interview with one or more of the Administrative Faculty will be scheduled. Early applications are encouraged. There is a non-refundable $50 application fee. Admission decisions are made by the Administrative Faculty.
Tuition is $1, 950 per year, with $975 due September 1st and $975 due January 1st. Tuition includes all course work and group supervision (continuous cases). Tuition is non-refundable. In case of financial hardship, a tuition payment plan can be arranged with the office.
Classes are held weekly on Tuesdays from 6:00 to 8:45 P.M., beginning in September, at Rockland Mansion, E. Fairmount Park, 3810 Mt. Pleasant Drive, Philadelphia, PA 19121.
