The PCOP offers continuing education credits to physicians, psychologists, and social workers for its courses and programs on an hour for hour basis. The following statements are in accord with the policies of the accrediting agencies:
This activity has been planned and implemented in accordance with the Essentials Areas and Policies of the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) through the joint sponsorship of the American Psychoanalytic Association and the Psychoanalytic Center of Philadelphia. The American Psychoanalytic Association is accredited by the ACCME to provide continuing medical education for the physicians and takes responsibility for the content, quality, and scientific integrity of the CME activity.
The American Psychoanalytic Association designates this education activity for Category 1 credit towards the AMA Physician’s Recognition Award. Each physician should claim only those hours of credit that he/she actually spend in the educational activity.

CODE 47—49], the American Psychological Association is a pre-approved provider for social workers and clinical social workers in the State of Pennsylvania and the Psychoanalytic Center of Philadelphia is approved to sponsor continuing education credits by the American Psychological Association.
